The Golden State Warriors schedule for the 2021-22 season

The NBA will release its 2021-2022 regular-season schedule on Friday. We’ve got a look at the Golden State Warriors’ key games and notable odds with the draft a wrap and free agency mostly behind us.
The Warriors finished in the No. 8 seed at the end of the regular season with a record of 39-33, poised to get through the play-in tournament and make a playoff run. Unfortunately for the Dubs, Steph Curry and the crew met up with LeBron James and the?Lakers?in a game they lost, followed up by a narrow loss to the Grizzlies to end Golden State’s playoff hopes. It was still an improvement from the 2019-20 season when they finished with the worst record in the league at 15-50. Curry spent the majority of that season sidelined with an injury and only ended up playing five games total. This past season saw him on the court more consistently along with Draymond Green, and the difference was night and day.
Instead of going after a superstar this off-season, the Warriors kept both of their first-round picks and grabbed young prospects Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody. They also added forward Otto Porter Jr who’s an experienced scorer that spent the last chunk of the season with the?Orlando Magic, while also signing forward Nemanja Bjelica from Miami. The Warriors’ potential starting lineup next season looks to be solid with Curry,?Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins, Draymond Green, and Kevon Looney. If they can all stay healthy and see a significant amount of minutes on the court, Golden State could see a massive improvement moving forward from this season.
