As Brazil announced the 26-man squad for the World Cup in Qatar on Monday, Manchester United winger Anthony shared a video on social media of him hugging and celebrating with his family before crying with joy.

The video shows Anthony and his family sitting on the sofa and watching TV nervously. Only he is wearing a blue Brazil away jersey and a Brazil cap, while his family are wearing Manchester United jerseys.

When his name was on TV and it was read, Anthony immediately cheered with his family, stood up and hugged and jumped in a circle, finally hugging his father and shedding tears.

This will be the first time Antonelli will represent Brazil at the World Cup. The 22-year-old new player, worth 100 million euros, made his debut for Brazil in October last year and played in 11 games, scoring two goals.

Newcastle's Guimaraes and Tottenham's Richarlison also shared similar clips on Twitter. Guimaraes even held the baby boy born two weeks ago in his arms. After learning that he was selected, he immediately jumped up with his family to celebrate, and his wife also kissed him.
